Chicago weather: Bitter cold locks in through Sunday before warmup arrives
FOX 32 meteorologist Mark Strehl says bitter air settles in tonight, pushing temperatures below zero across most of the Chicago area. Wind chills could fall as low as 28 degrees below zero overnight into the early morning hours of Sunday.
While the Chicago area digs out from its first major winter storm of the season, more snow could be on the way in coming days.
Temperatures are expected to remain below zero from Friday night to Sunday, with the coldest wind chills, minus-15 to minus-25, occurring Saturday night.
